Avcon Jet Receives AOC for the UAE

Avcon Jet is proud to announce the successful receipt of its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for the United Arab Emirates, marking a significant milestone in the company’s strategic global expansion.

With this achievement, Avcon Jet further strengthens its international footprint and reinforces its position as a leading global business aviation provider. The UAE, as one of the world’s most dynamic and strategically important aviation hubs, plays a key role in connecting major markets across Europe, Asia, and Africa.

The newly obtained AOC enables Avcon Jet to expand its operational capabilities in the region, offering enhanced flexibility, efficiency, and tailored services to its growing international client base. It also supports the company’s long-term vision of building a robust global network of operational hubs.

“This milestone reflects our continued commitment to growth and excellence in global business aviation,” said Alexander Vagacs, Chairman of Avcon Jet. “The UAE is a vital market, and this certification allows us to better serve our clients while strengthening our presence in a key region.”

Michael Makarius, CEO of Avcon Jet, added: “This achievement is a testament to the outstanding work and dedication of our teams across the organization. It highlights not only our deep industry expertise, but also our capability to operate at the highest level on a global scale, delivering seamless, high-quality service to our clients wherever they are.”

Emad Fahem, Managing Director of Avcon Jet Middle East, commented: “With this AOC, Dubai transitions from a regional base into a fully certified global hub within Avcon Jet’s international network. The UAE’s location at the nexus of Europe, Asia, and Africa makes this a strategically significant development, directly expanding the level of service and operational flexibility we can offer clients across these markets.”

The certification is the result of a dedicated, cross-functional effort involving multiple teams across Avcon Jet’s international offices. Through strong collaboration and shared expertise, the company successfully navigated the complex regulatory process to achieve this important milestone.

Avcon Jet remains committed to delivering the highest standards of safety, service, and operational excellence as it continues to expand its global reach.
